Ballet body question?
Well, except for a long torso which is a bit of a problem, perhaps it is good if it is not too long and you have a nice line and facility. Ballet bodies generally have a short torso with long legs, arms and neck. I have seen dancers with an average length torso that have had decent ballet bodies. What is a little puzzling is that people that have both long legs and a long torso would also be very tall. For you to be only 5' 3" tall either your legs and torso are the same length, or you have long legs and a short torso or short legs and a long torso. Generally torso length is viewed in caparison to the leg length unless some one is very tall and then both can be considered long as compared to the average person.
