What to do for a horse with a swelled angle ?

My horse was shoes two weeks ago Saturday a week ago tomorrow we took her to the vets do to limping they them pulled her shoes and that's what the problem was she had a sore up in her hoof the vet said so we have been soaking it twice a day and wrapping it and it seems to be more swelled today. Is this normal as it's about to come threw? She is a tb who came off the track a few months ago they said she had a chip on her knee which is the same one she is limping on now but there's no heat in her knee and the xray didn't show a big chip could it be her tendons and that's why they stopped running her? Btw she just turned three in march. She goes back to the vets sat but I didn't no what i should do in the mean time. Please help i am worried alto a few people said this is all normal when it's about to pop threw
