Why does my penis face straight down?

when i have a erection my penis faces straight down. Like it comes outta my body and then it just curves all the way down, facing the floor. I used to have normal erections, facing straight. But now it dosnt. Advice? Why is this? My friend says its cause i have broken a tendon or something inside where the penis heads out the body so it dosnt hold up straight???
